My responsibilities at Buffalo:
As a Business Development Officer, my focus is on fostering and taking stewardship of fundraising partnerships between Buffalo and educational institutions. Working within the Business Development Schools Team, I support our school clients with their community fundraising plans. This involves tailoring fundraising campaigns to suit each client relative to their needs, and finding the best fundraising solutions to ensure they meet their campaign goals.
Why I chose to work for Buffalo:
Studying Social Sciences and International Development at university matured my understanding of several social issues, including access to education, and inspired me to pursue a career in fundraising. My role at Buffalo has provided me with an opportunity to undertake meaningful work, supporting schools to raise funds for much needed scholarships and bursaries that widen access to education. The immediate warmth and support I received upon joining the Buffalo team assured me that I had found a lovely place to work.
