Once you have qualified you will manage 6 telephone fundraising campaigns per year.  The role itself is very diverse and ranges from recruiting your own fundraising callers, managing databases, training and supervising teams of up to 40 people and writing reports to identify trends.  You will learn a huge number of skills both during and after your training.


In non-covid times you should expect to be away from home for between 15 and 17 weeks per year as the telethons take place on site at our client institutions. The rest of the time will be spent in our friendly Bristol office where we have such benefits as flexible working hours and smart/casual dress. As things stand, we are running our campaigns remotely with most staff members working largely from home.  We are a sociable bunch who are keen to get back to working together everyday and will be delighted to have another herd member to join in with our lunches, drinks and other social occasions once we are able to!


You can raise up to £1 million from the campaigns that you would manage each year, which makes for a very rewarding job.


​In return for your hard work, Buffalo offers new members of our Training Programme and Grad Scheme a starting salary of £19,000 which will increase to £22,000 once you have spent 6-8 months on our training programme, with another rise to £25,500 the following year. You will also receive a £5,000 investment budget to either use towards a professional qualification or have as a completion bonus at the end of the two and a half year fixed term scheme.
