My responsibilities at Buffalo:
As the Call Room Manager, I have responsibility for overseeing all the campaigns Buffalo run in our in-house call room. These vary from campaigns for educational institutions, to campaigns for theatres, orchestras, and other arts organisations, health charities, and a broad range of other charities and organisations with charitable status. The campaigns themselves vary between affinity campaigns, fundraising campaigns, and consent capture campaigns. I’ve run many campaigns now in my time at Buffalo which have delivered outstanding results and I enjoy the variation day to day which comes from working with such a variety of causes and such a great call room team.
Why I chose to work for Buffalo:
I became interested in fundraising after being a Buffalo caller during my time at University. I enjoyed both talking to alumni and the satisfaction of knowing I was doing good work raising much needed funds. In addition, I have also long held a passion for the arts, and I am delighted that my role in the call room allows me to unite these two interests. When I came to Buffalo for the first time I found it a friendly and supportive environment, and one in which you are allowed to thrive.
