Georgia Oaten

Campaign Officer

Education: PhD in Anthrozoology (currently studying), Hartpury & UWE University

My responsibilities at Buffalo:

I am responsible for working with educational institutions to develop and manage telephone fundraising campaigns, including being responsible for the overseeing of a range of tasks such as recruitment, maintaining accurate records, liaising with clients and completing reports to monitor and evaluate campaign success.

Why I chose to work for Buffalo:

Alongside my studies I wanted to gain experience in a job that would allow me to develop my project management skills whilst having close links to the educational sector. Having been in a university setting within my career and education for many years, I understand the importance of the types of campaigns that Buffalo facilitates as to improving and widening the opportunities available to students and this appealed to me greatly. Working at Buffalo offered me the opportunity to work with a sector I deeply value, whilst being able to challenge me and enable me to strengthen my professional skills within a really friendly team.
