My responsibilities at Buffalo:

I manage telephone fundraising campaigns for a range of educational institutions across the UK. It is my duty to oversee the entire process from beginning to end, and to work in accordance with the particular needs of each client to secure the overall success of each individual campaign. Onsite I manage the recruitment and training of callers and I remain for the duration of the telethon in order to ensure the campaign runs smoothly and strives to fulfill the targets set.

Revealing the final total is the crowning moment of any fundraising campaign. However it is a process that begins months in advance with careful research, planning and the cultivation of a compelling case for support.  Following the conclusion of the campaign, there is also a wrap-up period in which I produce a number of follow-up letters as well as a detailed and explanatory report analysing the outcome of the campaign.

During my degree I was supported with funding on projects and activities I was interested in, and so I realise how essential this is to having a complete education.
