Business Development & Campaign Officer

Education: BA English Literature, University of Bristol

My responsibilities at Buffalo:

For the Business Development part of my job, I work with current and potential future clients in the education sector to maintain and build our relationships with them. I help them to decide which of our services will be most useful to them, and then ensure that these services are implemented. I also manage three telephone campaigns a year, which involves hiring and training the callers, developing the script for the calls, managing the call room and writing a report at the end of the campaign reflecting on its achievements.

Why I chose to work for Buffalo: 

I initially worked for Buffalo for a few months part-time as a caller.  I enjoyed the job a lot and was really impressed by the supportive and friendly atmosphere at the company, so I was keen to apply when I saw a graduate position being advertised. I’ve always had an interest in working in the not-for-profit sector, and I really like the fact that my role is so varied and allows me to develop a wide range of skills within a dynamic, growing company.
