Buffalo push through the end of Summer into Autumn
Concluding the highly successful summer activities of fundraising for Surrey University (3rd Buffalo Telethon) Taunton School (3 rd Buffalo Telethon) and Winchester College (1st ever Buffalo telethon) as well as mini telethon to overseas alumni for The University of Greenwich meant Buffalo entered September with confidence and vigour. Our School campaigns hit their targets, probably to the surprise of many in this time of financial crisis, meaning we could look at Oxbridge campaigns positively, and we did, hitting all our targets again and raising 1 million pounds!

We ran campaigns at Keble and Somerville in Oxford as well as Jesus, Pembroke and St John's in Cambridge. For some Campaign Managers this was the first campaign they would be running on their own, for others a chance to simply shine. To say the least, everyone did. Feeling fit after the marathon Ed Lang pushed St John's to nearly the result of last year and Alex, our other marathon superstar, got the best result at Keble to date. For the first time Buffalo worked in Oxford's Central Development Office with Rose running a campaign for Somerville College: the brilliant results achieved highlight the added value Buffalo brings to telephone fundraising across the Collegiate University. Brilliance extended throughout but not least to Jesus College where Jessie pioneered her first independent campaign and showed us that she earned her name as Campaign Manager and excellent fundraiser. Pembroke, one of our oldest clients, had another superb result with Tom and Edd Pickering proving Buffalo had it in them three years running.
We are proud to now be working for The University of Greenwich, East London, Reading, Leicester and Keele currently as well as a further parental campaign at Westminster. We have also just finished a campaign for Goldsmiths College which again surpassed targets and proved Buffalo have got what it takes for the University clientele.
