June at Buffalo
June was a fairly quiet month for Buffalo, with two of our most vocal Campaign Managers off running campaigns in Oxford. Buffalo was a sponsoring exhibitor at the IDPE conference just outside Oxford, providing a delicious barbeque. The conference was full of small astonishments – Ed's speech was, for the first time ever, shorter than ten minutes; the exploding chocolate fountain caught everybody by surprise as well. The conference was very successful and well-attended, and Edd and Jessica thoroughly enjoyed it – their first!
Back in the office, it was all change: we said goodbye to Graham, who left to run his final campaign for Buffalo at the University of Surrey, and we welcomed two brand new recruits, Helena and Will. Helena accompanied Graham during the first week of Surrey, and Will ran a very successful night-time campaign at St Anne's in Oxford. Meanwhile, everybody geared up for their School campaigns, sending out thousands of letters and making sure everything was set. Let's hope this Summer can be just as successful as the last!
